Toads on Picnic Waterway Tour
Saturday, June 07, 2008 | 11:30 AM
Join Keith Conrad, Area Manager for Multicarte, Inc. as he guides his amphibious followers around the waterway sipping some TOADilly wonderful selections. You'll nibble your way through your box lunch and have a relaxing time. As you taste the wines from Toad Hollow Vineyards, please take a moment to envision the founders and two old friends…Dr. Toad and Mr. Badger, sitting on the veranda, smiling as they raise a glass of wine to salute you.
- Toad Hollow Sauvignon Blanc
Crisp and clean with no oak. Lots of kiwi fruit and citrus notes that make it very soft and clean on the pallet…croakingly good. - Toad Hollow Chardonnay
Aged in stainless for 9 months, wonderfully smooth and well balanced from beginning to end. - Toad Hollow Pinot Rose
This is a traditional French styled Rose that is made from Pinot Noir grapes and is bone dry. This is a big Rose with lots of structure and body yet is elegant and smooth with rose petals and violets on the nose and wonderful wild strawberry notes on the pallet. The wine maker has kept all sources of sugar out of the wine to allow the classic Pinot Noir grape to speak for itself. - Toad Hollow Zinfandel
Rich fragrant with raspberries and pomegranates on the nose and a juicy, jammy body and finish. It is a robust and fresh Zinfandel that is a delight on the pallet. - Toad Hollow Risqué
Softly effervescent with just enough sweetness to be an aperitif or a dessert wine. This is a crisp fruity sparkler with only 6% alcohol and has tastes of fresh green apples and pears. Sweeter and less fizzy than a champagne.
Plip, plop, flop on board.
Will Call for this event is in the Marriott Lobby, next to Aqua Lounge
