For over 25 years, the Omni Houston has been known for it's strong culinary excellence and today, the tradition continues under the watchful eye of Executive Chef John Geschrei. In addition to overseeing the lavish weddings and social events hosted at the hotel, Chef Geschrei oversees Noe Restaurant, Omni's highly acclaimed fine dining restaurant.

Chef Geschrei has been with Omni for over seventeen years. Since the beginning of his Omni career in 1990, he has served as Executive Chef in such landmarks as the historic Omni Severin Hotel, and the fabled Pump Room in Chicago's Ambassador East Hotel. John received many accolades for his outstanding culinary skills while in Chicago and because of this track record of success and tremendous accomplishments, he was tapped to be Executive Chef at the Omni Houston in January, of 2006.

Chef Geschrei has continued raising the bar of culinary excellence since his arrival at the Omni Houston and this will continue with his additional responsibilities overseeing Noe Restaurant.
